I am a Sr. Engineer and a Web enthusiast. I love to innovate and hack. Presently, I work for Yahoo! India R&D where I contribute in web mining algorithms, building large scale high performance sytems and features for a distributed social network for bloggers: MyBlogLog. Yeah! Many of the widgets you see on this blog are from MyBlogLog. I work with an amazing bunch of really talented people. Prior to joining Yahoo, I completed my Masters from the School of IT at IIT Bombay in July 2007. My thesis was under Prof. Krithi Ramamritham on Information Retrieval in Resource Constrained Environments. During my masters, I worked closely with Media Lab Asia, IIT Bombay on project aAQUA.org. I also did an internship with a mobile startup: Webaroo. I was born and brought up in Indore. After finishing my Engineering, moved to Mumbai for my masters and now I live in Bangalore. It is a great place, many friends, awesome weather, silicon valley of India but bad traffic. I blog about web technology and hacks mostly. I also read a lot of blogs, you can see my favorite ones in the blogroll. I am a Mac freak. I also love lawn tennis, music, traveling and khara bhath.
